Launched in late 2023, Strings is an online literary magazine based in London, providing a space for new writing from emerging and established writers.

We’re interested in writing that stands beyond defined boundaries and plays with form, structure and language.

We publish prose, poetry and any imaginative work that sits between those forms.

Strings appears twice per year. Our submissions periods are:

  • 15 November – 15 December
  • 15 June – 15 July

Our submission guidelines can be found here.

Strings is run by volunteers. Unfortunately we can’t offer payment right now.

Strings is edited by Alex Aspden and Alex Keramidas.
